The correct foreign exchange rate is the live rate quoted in the financial markets. The number quoted is the midpoint between the BUY and SELL rates for a currency pair and it is constantly changing. You can see this rate on our Markets page. This rate will be the best available at the time of exchange.

Many providers will hide this rate from you as their rate will not compare favourably. Foreign exchange providers that advertise they offer zero percent commission or no fees really offer a rate that is heavily inflated in their favour.
